*DISCLAIMER: These instructions are purely for iCarsoft UK / UK Parts Direct supplied Genuine Tools Only - if you have purchased a Non-Genuine Tool elsewhere, these instructions may not be relevant or may not work.

Unless you have requested at Checkout for us to add Manufacturer Software for you - your tool will be supplied blank. This means you will need to follow the instructions below to add the Software that you require. This is a nice and easy process:

1. Download the iCarsoft CR V2.0 Update Tool to your computer (Zip File) - https://www.icarsoft.com/Uploads/download/iCarsoft_MSDIAG_PCClientKits.zip

2. Once extracted, you will need to Double-Click on the Application "iCarsoft_MSDIAG_PCClientKits"

3. If you receive the following message - please click -> "More Info" -> "Run Anyway"

4. If you receive a message box "Do you want to allow this app..." -> Click "Yes"

5. You will then be directed to the InstallShield Wizard -> Click "Next"

6. Choose Destination File -> Click "Next"

7. Ready to Install -> Click "Install"

8. Once the install is complete, you will see "InstallShield Wizard Complete"

9. You now have the iCarsoft icon on your Desktop -> Double-Click

10. You have now successfully installed the iCarsoft CR V2.0 Update Tool

11. Plug the iCarsoft CR V2.0 Diagnostic Tool into your computer's USB Port (with the USB Lead supplied)

12. The Tool's Serial Number will Auto-Populate in the iCarsoft CR V2.0 Update Tool (if the Serial Number does not Auto-Populate - your Anti-Virus software will likely be blocking USB Interaction - you will need to allow USB interaction in your Anti-Virus settings)

13. Click -> "Upgrade"

14. Enter your "E-mail address" and "UID Code" (UID will be shown on the screen of the tool - please enter exactly as shown (Upper Case / Lower Case etc.))

15. Click "OK"

16. You will now see a full list of Manufacturer Software available for download

17. Choose your desired Software (up to 10 Manufacturers) by clicking the tick boxes

*Please note - as we offer FREE Software Downloads for Life - you can download as and when required - you do not have to download all 10 Manufacturers at once
